Affordable Asbestos Removal Cardiff

As a homeowner or business owner in Caerphilly, it's essential to ensure that any asbestos removal work is carried out by a licensed and reputable company. In this article, we'll provide a step-by-step guide on how to check asbestos removal licences in Caerphilly.

An asbestos removal licence is a permit issued by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) that allows a company to carry out asbestos removal work. The licence is a standard requirement for any company that wants to remove asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) from a property.

To check an asbestos removal licence in Caerphilly, you can follow these steps:

1. Check the Company's Website: Look for the company's website and check if they have a valid asbestos removal licence. A reputable company like Helix Environmental Ltd, trading as Affordable Asbestos Removal Cardiff, will display their licence number on their website.
2. Contact the HSE: You can contact the HSE directly to check if a company has a valid asbestos removal licence. You can visit their website or call them on 029 2236 2397.
3. Check the Company's Documentation: Ask the company to provide you with a copy of their asbestos removal licence. A valid licence will have the company's name, address, and licence number.

When checking an asbestos removal licence, make sure to look for the following:

• Company Name: The company name should match the name on the licence.
• Address: The company address should match the address on the licence.
• Licence Number: The licence number should be valid and up-to-date.
• Expiry Date: The licence should not be expired.

Choosing a licensed asbestos removal company is essential to ensure that the work is carried out safely and in compliance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012. A licensed company will have the necessary training, equipment, and expertise to remove asbestos-containing materials safely.
