Affordable Asbestos Removal Cardiff

At Affordable Asbestos Removal Cardiff, we understand the importance of proper asbestos disposal in Caerphilly and the surrounding areas. As a leading asbestos removal company, we follow strict guidelines to ensure the safe collection and disposal of asbestos waste. In this article, we will discuss the types of bags used for asbestos disposal and the procedures we follow to minimize environmental impact.

Asbestos waste is considered hazardous and requires specialized bags for safe disposal. We use red, 1000-gauge polythene bags that are specifically designed for asbestos waste collection. These bags are made from heavy-duty, puncture-resistant material to prevent leakage or damage during transportation.

Red bags are used for asbestos waste disposal, while clear bags are used for non-asbestos waste. This color-coding system helps to identify the type of waste and ensures that it is handled and disposed of correctly. We use red bags for all asbestos waste, including materials from domestic and commercial removal projects.

HRC bags are designed for the collection of hazardous waste, including asbestos. These bags are made from a thicker, more durable material than standard waste bags and are designed to withstand the rigors of transportation and storage.

When disposing of asbestos waste, we follow a strict procedure to ensure safe handling and transportation. This includes:

• Placing asbestos waste in red, 1000-gauge polythene bags
• Sealing the bags with tape to prevent leakage
• Labeling the bags with the contents and the date
• Transporting the bags to a licensed waste disposal facility
• Ensuring that all personnel handling the bags wear personal protective equipment (PPE)

Unfortunately, asbestos bags are not recyclable due to the hazardous nature of the contents. However, we strive to minimize waste and reduce our environmental impact by using recyclable materials for non-asbestos waste.

For larger asbestos removal projects, we offer skip hire services. Our skips are specifically designed for asbestos waste collection and are equipped with red bags to ensure safe disposal.
